Dear Shawna: Schools, libraries and "parent" Web sites are all putting up homework helpers these days. Lots of them are Web pages with links to educational places on specific subjects. A good link page is Schoolwork.ugh! at www.schoolwork.org. For math help try Dave's Math Tables at www.math2.org. It has information about arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and more.
Dear Amy: We can't look at certain URLs. They keep saying something about "frames." What do they mean? Is there another way to read these pages?-Casey & Jesse, Twin Falls, Idaho
Dear Casey & Jesse: When a Web site uses frames and you have a browser that can see them, the page will be divided into separate regions. You can scroll around in each region, or frame, independently of the others-you will seeing two or three Web pages at the same time. To learn more about frames see Netscape's page at http:// developer.netscape.com/ library/ documentation/ htmlguid/ frames.htm If your brower doesnt support frames many sites offer text only versions you can use.
